September 2009 CLE: Bench & Bar Luncheon

The Tucson Chapter of the Federal Bar Association invites you to attend the annual United States District Court District of Arizona Bench & Bar CLE luncheon. This is your opportunity to hear important advice from U.S. District judges on practicing in U.S. District Court.

New lawyers and non-members are encouraged to attend. You will be able to meet the judges on the panel:

  • Hon. John M. Roll, Chief Judge of the United States District Court District of Arizona.
    "The State of the Court" -- an update on the Tucson federal court's case load, judgeships in the District of Arizona and the Yuma Courthouse
  • Hon. David C. Bury, United States District Judge
    Civil case management, discovery disputes and the CJRA report: how federal judges are managing civil cases and why
  • Hon. D. Thomas Ferraro, United States Magistrate Judge
    Perspectives from a new magistrate judge on criminal practice in federal court
