Please join us for lunch with James (Jim) M. Wagstaffe, partner and co-founder of Kerr & Wagstaffe, LLP. Jim is recognized as a prominent authority and is frequently consulted on complicated civil procedure, legal ethics and trial practice issues. Moreover, as a cutting edge litigator, the State Bar of California has looked to him for over 15 years to handle its most challenging cases, especially those raising serious constitutional issues.
In addition to his successful litigation practice, Jim has authored and co-authored a number of publications: (1) Federal Civil Procedure Before Trial – Three Volumes; (2) Game Changers: New Federal Rule Amendments; (3) California Legal Ethics; Commencing and Removing Actions to Federal Court; (4) “Much Ado About Doe Defendants” and (5) Life After Remand. Jim authored Romancing the Room, a spirited step-by-step guide to effective public speaking. He also was a contributing author along with Donald Trump, Larry King, and Ira Glass, among others, to The Expert’s Guide to 100 Things Everyone Should Know How to Do.
