Today Chapter President Brian Laird sent letters to Arizona Senators Jon Kyl and John McCain urging them to support increased salaries for United States district judges.

The Tucson Chapter of the Federal Bar Association supports the pay raise initiative because recruiting and retaining the highest caliber jurists for service in the federal system will promote the administration of justice and help protect the judiciary from attacks upon its independence.
